Marshall Media Inc. and Chris Gutzeit to Launch Adventure Sports Community Web Site.

For Immediate release:

GLENDALE, CA, August 13, 2007 – The adventure sports community is in for a treat. Marshall Media Inc. (MMI) and athlete Chris Gutzeit have joined forces to create a Web site – “Dashaka.com” – that will be dedicated to the interests of adventure and extreme sports athletes and enthusiasts worldwide. Dashaka is slated to open its doors in October/November of this year and will offer free membership to everyone involved that are interested in this multifaceted sports arena.

MMI and Gutzeit have already identified over 40 sports that ultimately will be featured on the site. Members will be encouraged to interact, blog, create profiles, share information and content relating to their sports, and post announcements about upcoming events and final competition results.

Visitors to the site will also benefit from free live broadcasts of adventure sports events shot by MMI in high definition (HD) and streamed by MMI's revolutionary Internet broadcasting service Infinibeam HD. The Infinibeam HD video streaming solution is MMI's flagship Internet video presentation service delivering live sports, concerts, news, major incident, corporate presentations and other live events in enhanced and high definition formats over the Internet. Archives of these live broadcasts, along with video material created and posted by members, will also be made available on the site.

Gary Kaufman, MMI's Vice President of Streaming Media and Network Services noted “I met Chris through a mutual friend and was blown away when he described his thoughts about a community–oriented site for the adventure sports world. This was something that we had to do, especially on account of the synergies with our Infinibeam HD production and distribution arm.”

Mr. Gutzeit added, “I have traveled the world in search of great wind and great surf. These are the elements I need to survive. By creating this global network of athletes, the search for all of us will only get easier, and my community will only get stronger.”

About Chris Gutzeit
Born and raised on Oahu's “North Shore,” Chris grew up living the life of a “waterman.” His father introduced him to the sport of surfing at the age of three and his love and passion for the ocean have been with him ever since, while focusing on a quest to perfect his skills in the ocean sports arena. He strives to be well–rounded by meeting all of the conditions that Mother Nature has to offer. In January of 2000, at age 28, Chris relocated to Santa Barbara to pursue his career as an environmental artist/professional athlete. He continues to explore his creative energy through the development of “Dashaka.com.”
